About

Once upon a time...

...I fell in love with jungle plants, filled my home with lots and lots of cuttings, trees, bushes and vines, ran out of space and eventually started sharing cuttings with other collectors.

Many rare plants from rainforests in Asia and South America have not been cultivated before and do not even have a name (you see them called just 'sp. Borneo' or similar). Many come from forests that are being cut down and local communities save, grow, propagate those plants and make a living by selling to urban collectors who are more than happy to conserve rare species and hopefully return some to natural habitat one day.

And in the meantime, we can enjoy a bit of nature at home.
